The first of 6 found-object wooden keepsake boxes, which I have further distressed and then painted in my outsider-art and naive style. Each one is unique, unusual, one of a kind, distressed and worn, with imperfections throughout which makes it even more charming. This particular one measures:

about 7.5" wide
 
I have varnished the outside of the top and bottom with a glossy finish to add brilliance and shine. The interior I have left unvarnished. This is made out of solid wood, and is somewhat heavy.
